Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I registered?

You will receive an e-mail that contains a link that allows you to configure your password. After doing so, you will be able to login to your site's admin environment, and you're done.

What happens after my trial ends?

Before or after the 30 days of your trial, you will be able to decide if you want to continue your purchase. If you don't wanr to continue, your website will be archived and then permanently deleted after another 30 days.

How and where is my domain registered?

We will register your domain and manage it on your behalf through a qualified third-party vendor, called TransIP, which is a hosting company located in The Netherlands. If you would rather handle this process yourself, you are of course free to do so (be sure to read the question below in regards to configuring your domain).

I already own a domain, what should I do?

Follow the instructions that are available in your admin environment and configure your domain's DNS records to have them pointed to our server. We can help you with that.

Do I need to provide my payment details for the trial?

No, you will not need to provide any payment details for using the trial version. Only after you decide to continue with your purchase, you will be able to provide your payment details.

What are the available payment methods?

We are able to issue an invoice, payable via bank transfer. You will be able to have this invoice addressed to your university. Additionally, we support all major credit cards, including PayPal.

Which domain name extensions do you offer?

We offer the most common top-level domain extensions, which are: .com, .eu, .net, .org and .nl.

What happens when I cancel my plan?

If you would decide to cancel your plan, we would be able to provide you with an export of your data to enable you to host this yourself. Essentially we will apply the "Self-Hosted" plan and we would deduct any amounts you already paid from the total cost of this plan.

Can I install third-party resources through my admin environment?

Unfortunately, we do not support the installment of third-party resources (such as themes and plugins) as part of our security measures. If you insist on having a specific plugin installed inside your admin environment, please get in touch with us, so we can manually review this before making them available on our servers.

There is a feature I would really like to see added, is that possible?

Definitely. We encourage our clients to share their thoughts for making the design better for the rest of us. Feel free to reach out to us, and we will consider this request. However, there may be costs involved if the request turns out to be specific or personal in nature.
